Baby Sis Gets Hitched

Is she really old enough to be a Mrs.??? I can't believe my baby sister fell in love and got married. She swore she would not be the typical BYU girl that just goes there to lasso a hubby and settle down. BUT that was before she met Rob, and she was the one being lassoed. She did not have to sacrifice her dreams of being a superstar, though. Kim was also recently chosen into the BYU Ambassador's program and will be "show-choiring" around the world next year.
Anyway... Kim and Rob were married on July 22nd in the Draper temple. They held a reception the previous night on a golf course. Everything was perfect! I'm happy with Kimmie and wish her well with her new life as a wife.My niece, Malleya, enjoyed the playground jungle gym (aka golf cart) at the reception. Many children climbed around and pretended to drive it. My dad, Dane and I were responsible for the lights and paper lanterns strung up around the reception area. It only took us 3 or 4 hours or so. Kim's colors were black, white and green. The chair covers were poofy and cute.

My brothers were responsible for the garbage at the reception. Brady took this responsibility very seriously and was insistent on making the garbage cans more visually appealing. He was very proud of his decorating skills.

The two oldest nieces enjoyed the frozen yogurt toppings more than the frozen yogurt. They are so cute! Taylor (Marshall's oldest) is 13 and Mckaylee (Brady's oldest) is 10.

I like this picture as it shows the beautiful view of the mountains, the greenery of the golf course, and all the sisters and Rob's sisters. We were all to wear a cream shirt, black skirt and a hat. My mom sewed sashes for us to wear.

Dane (my youngest brother), Me, Julia (my cousin), and Amber (my sister). Dane and I were thrilled the lights were finally working. They came on the last hour, and we were ticked that they wouldn't be used at all after all of our hard work that day to get them set up.

These are my two cousins in charge of the yogurt machines. They are both like 6 something feet tall and are cute returned missionaries. Ronan will be playing football for U of U next year. He does not currently have a girlfriend... I think Brandon is taken, though. Sorry, ladies.

The cutest one at the reception (besides the bride) was KIRA! She LOVES weddings now, and knows what to expect. Cake, music, candy and dresses are all her favorite things. My mom also sewed the cute boleros for all the nieces.

Douglas and Jace (Marshall's boy) were two handsome fellas. I'm not sure having the kids wear white and then serving chocolate fro-yo was the best idea...

Also on Douglas' shirt were stains from strawberries and grass. That shirt would've made a great stain treatment commercial.

These are all the girls on my side of the family. I'm so lucky to have such cute nieces! April's baby, Darcy, was especially fun.

We had some little golf sets for the kids to use on the putting green. I think they had a blast. The cute blondie in front is Easton (Brady's youngest).
