March was a great month. We were thrilled to have my parents visit, and we got to go see baby "Leela" (Malleya) get her baby blessing. Kira was thrilled with visiting a puppy and a baby at Amber's house- Kira's idea of the ultimate dream I'm sure. The boys even begged to have a turn to hold her. Malleya looked adorable, and Nick gave a nice blessing. You'll have to visit Amber's blog to see her cute blessing dress. Here is a picture of the Saturday before.

My parents came to Logan for a few days to spend time with us. They went to Douglas's class and did a presentation on Norway. Douglas was thrilled with all the attention, and even loved the sardines my parents brought for the class to taste. Not all the kids were thrilled with Sardines. One girl even wrote, "I can't believe what those Norwegians will eat!" in her thank-you letter. So funny.
The weather was perfect! We ditched school for 1/2 a day and headed to Willow Park to play. Douglas demonstrated some serious climbing skills. Not so good at climbing down. He got a few scrapes that almost impaired him to the point of not being able to participate in football.

Kira loved all the attention from her grandparents, and had a ball on the playground with Grandma during football.

We enjoyed the stroll through Willow Park zoo. Did I mention the weather was awesome? It was the warmest day of the year so far. A drastic change from the previous week. You can still see a spot of snow in the background, but this particular day was almost 60 degrees. It felt like summer to us (as demonstrated by the short-wearing boys of mine).

We played some serious flag football. I even jumped in to help the offense and got a few touchdowns. TJ always takes advantage of visitors so he can have some more competition. He takes football very seriously. He wants to play football.... I just wish he weighed more than 80 pounds before going onto the field with 120+ pounders. Why couldn't he just love baseball instead?

We loved having Grandma and Grandpa visit. Hope to see them more this summer...
