Super Speedy Saturday

This week can be officially dubbed the week of major projects. TJ's pinewood derby car was due on Wednesday, Douglas had a 7 page report due on rabbits, and TJ had a book report- complete with a 3-D puppet and oral presentation. Needless to say, our evenings were spent crafting and staying up a little too late. The projects all turned out well, though. TJ's puppet was the coolest. It is still at school, so I'll have to post a picture later.
The pinewood derby was this morning. TJ designed and painted his own "Bronco-mobile" complete with a lego engine. It wasn't the fastest car, but was voted "Favorite Overall". TJ is a little competitive, and a little disappointed in the car's performance. He was upset I didn't invest in graphite for the wheels. I guess there's always next year.....

We went sledding this afternoon on "Paradise Hills" in Paradise, Utah. Our friends, the McKays, took us up there and we enjoyed the sun, fresh air, and snowy hills. Daddy and Kira.

Douglas became famous for his dramatic wipe-outs.

T.J. liked the speed and spinning 360s as he cruised downhill.

Kira went down a few times with me. She actually enjoyed it... probably because she didn't have to climb all the way back up the hill.

Looks like you guys have been having fun! My thighs are burning just imagining the hike up and down the hill, towing little Kira with you... :)
