Happy Birthday, Kira!

Kira celebrated her 1st birthday on April Fools Day. She didn't really care about the presents or candle, but she loved her cake. She wasn't shy about digging right in. Some of my in-laws came to celebrate with us. Grandma LaMont and Aunt Michelle each got Kira the exact same outfit- hilarious. It's cute, though. It also shows how limited our shopping is here in Cache Valley.

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to. (Especially when Mom takes the cake away and tries to clean my face).

I can't believe it's been a whole year already! What a fabulous addition to the LaMont clan. She has been so much fun. She is playful, sweet and funny. One of her favorite things to do is play on the floor with you. She likes diving across legs and climbing up on people. She likes climbing stairs, pushing her push toy around and cruising furniture. No walking, yet. She babbles a lot, and says a few words: ba ba, mama, dada, and "what's that?", although it sounds more like (wusda?). She makes the funniest faces, too. We love our little Kiki monkey. Here is a picture of her on the day she was born:
